Sunglasses Distribution

Our distribution team posing in our recently received sunglasses from Bedrukken.nl and Christian Refugee Relief! As the summer sun gets stronger in Samos, we are happy to be able to offer sunglasses to people who want them. Bedrukken.nl donated the sunglasses with logo and flipflops with logo to us - thank you! 

This is especially important as there is hardly any shaded area in the Samos CCAC due to the location of the camp in the mountains and the lack of structures that provide shade. The white containers are extremely bright in the sunlight and people who come to our community centres have been concerned about the rising temperatures. Again, we stress that the CCAC is not a sustainable nor dignified facility to keep people claiming asylum in and we stand against the model of containment as migration policy.
